This is first for me but after reading drungmonkey's blog and count by five's blog, I just couldn't help myself. I too feel I have some contribution to make to this insanity we call a career. So whats my story?
After graduation I worked for Kroger for 5 years before taking a position with an independent in a small town in central Kentucky. Coming from the chain atmosphere, I felt like an independent would give me the freedom to do what I want and not take shit from anyone. I figured, if I don't like it, I could tell them to get in line to kiss my ass! Oh was I wrong, but thats the whole point of this blog. I feel like the chain and independent worlds share a lot of the same idiot customers but maybe the subtle differences in my experiences and theirs are worth posting.
